FILING FOR DIVORCE:
In Mississippi, there are two ways to initate a divorce. The first is when both spouses are in agreement and file a Joint Complaint for Divorce on the ground of Irreconcilable Differences. The second is when one spouse files for divorce from the other spouse on one of the twelve fault grounds. The most often used are habitual cruel and inhuman treatment, adultery and desertion.
